We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk / Data Entry Specialist to join our finance department. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity for candidates with aspirations in accounting to grow within our organization.

  • Position Details :
  • Schedule :
  • 25-30 hours per week, on-site, with flexible hours scheduled between Monday and Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.
  • Potential for Growth :
  • This position is designed as a stepping stone to a full-time role, providing development opportunities and support for career advancement within the accounting field.
  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Assist with data entry of journal entries and other accounting transactions.
  • Support the processing and mailing of vendor checks.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, copying, and organizing documents.
  • Pull data and reports for auditors during financial audits.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Qualifications :
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in data entry or administrative support in finance is a plus, but not required.
