We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk / Data Entry Specialist to join our finance department. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity for candidates with aspirations in accounting to grow within our organization.
Position Details :Schedule :25-30 hours per week, on-site, with flexible hours scheduled between Monday and Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.Potential for Growth :This position is designed as a stepping stone to a full-time role, providing development opportunities and support for career advancement within the accounting field.Key Responsibilities :Assist with data entry of journal entries and other accounting transactions.Support the processing and mailing of vendor checks.Perform general clerical duties such as filing, copying, and organizing documents.Pull data and reports for auditors during financial audits.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.Qualifications :Basic knowledge of accounting principles and processes.Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Prior experience in data entry or administrative support in finance is a plus, but not required.Why Join Us?This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical accounting experience in a collaborative environment.
