Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, and estates.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
  • Oversee tax return preparation, including complex estate (Form 706), gift (Form 709), and fiduciary (Form 1041) returns.
  • Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring efficient delegation, supervision, and timely completion.
  • Conduct technical tax reviews and approve all tax returns.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing client relationships and external networks.
  • Respond to federal and state tax notices and represent clients in audits.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Communicate complex tax matters clearly to clients and non-tax professionals.
  • Stay updated on evolving tax laws and best practices to enhance client service and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax.
  • CPA, EA, preferred.
  • 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.
  • Strong expertise in estate, gift, and fiduciary taxation.
  • Proven ability to research tax issues and develop strategic tax planning solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-level projects efficiently.
  • Experienced in public accounting management and client service excellence.
