Cheney Lime and Cement is looking for a skilled  Mobile Equipment Mechanic  to keep our operation running strong.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair  mechanical and electrical issues  on all types of mobile equipment.
• Perform  preventive maintenance  to minimize breakdowns and keep equipment running smoothly.
• Operate and test  equipment after repairs to ensure safety and peak performance.
• Use manuals to  identify, locate, and order parts  accurately.
• Keep your work area and tools  clean, organized, and in top condition .
• Support the team by taking on additional maintenance tasks as needed.

What You Bring

Strong knowledge of  automotive and heavy equipment repair tools  and procedures.

Familiarity with  lubricants, chemicals, and safety standards  used in a repair environment.

Ability to  read and follow technical manuals  and safety guidelines.

Experience with  welding, cutting, brazing, hydraulics, batteries, and tire repairs .

Dependability, initiative, and the ability to work  independently or as part of a team .

Qualifications

Physically able to perform all job duties and access all plant areas.

Willingness to work overtime, and weekends when needed.

Comfortable working in  outdoor, dusty, or noisy environments  (safety gear provided).

Pay : $35.00 per hour; Typical schedule is M-Th 7a-5p, Friday 7a-3p
