Job Description

Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a Behavioral / Mental Health Tech

Details :

  • Specialty : BHT
  • Location : Syracuse, NY
  • Pay Rate for Local 30, Pay rate for travel -18PH,800Stypen, 250MOB
  • Contract Length : 13 weeks
  • Shift / Hours : Variable

Key Duties :

  • responsible for the continuous supervision of clients to ensure a safe environment, conducting routine checks, and watching for any changes in behavior, symptoms, or safety risks
  • For patients who need assistance, BHTs help with everyday tasks such as personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, eating, and maintaining clean living areas.
  • work closely with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, nurses) to carry out individualized behavior and safety plans. This can involve using specific techniques like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for individuals with autism or related disorders

    • Requirements :

  • At least 1 years of experiences in Peds
  • AHA BLS Card
