Performs daily clinical tasks pertaining to chart checks, initial plan checks, patient specific QA, or other special procedures as needed. Performs routine quality assurance on linear accelerators, CT simulators, and other devices as needed. Performs 4DCT and DIBH simulations Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Varian TrueBeam STx, Accuray TomoTherapy HiART, Siemens ONCOR, GE LightSpeed 16, ARIA/Eclipse, MapCheck, EPIC Required skills and minimum years of experience. Proficiency and familiarity with Aria and Eclipse and/or Tomotherapy. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. Must be board certified in medical physics Shift or schedule requirements. M-F days. Call is not required. Floating to over units/departments. No. Will do remote chart checks for satellite radiation center that is 62 miles away. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 3 linear accelerators, 1 HDR suite, 1 dedicted CT Sim. 3 full time MDs, 3 full time dosimetrists, 2 other medical physicists.
