Part-Time Clinical Director – Physical Therapy

About Us :   We provide high-quality, compassionate therapy to children and families in home, school, and community settings. We are expanding into Physical Therapy and are seeking an experienced Clinical Director (Part-Time, Consulting) to help us establish and oversee best practices as we grow this new service line.

About the Role : It  is a part-time consulting position ideal for a seasoned Physical Therapist who enjoys shaping programs, developing systems, and mentoring other clinicians. The focus is on building clinical frameworks and ensuring ongoing quality and compliance , not direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices for physical therapy services.

Provide ongoing consultation and oversight to ensure quality and compliance with state and payer standards.

Collaborate with leadership on onboarding, training, and supervision models for future PT hires.

Support licensure, documentation, and audit readiness processes as the service line grows.

Serve as a thought partner on program development , helping shape our PT model for both school and insurance-based clients.

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered Physical Therapy license in New York State .

Minimum 5 years post-licensure experience ; supervisory or program-development background preferred.

Knowledge of PT practice standards, compliance, and documentation requirements.

Strong communication skills and an interest in flexible, collaborative consulting work.

Compensation

• $90-$120 / hour (consulting) for agreed-upon project and oversight work.
