Instructor - Department of BiologyThe Department of Biology at Mississippi College is seeking eligible applicants for the full-time faculty position of Instructor starting in August . The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and effective laboratory instruction. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee freshman biology laboratories Create and administer common midterm and final laboratory examinations for all freshman biology lab sections Teach Anatomy and Physiology I and II, including oversight of the accompanying laboratory sections Ensure consistency and quality across all assigned laboratory sections Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and assessment activities Required Qualifications Academic Credentials Master of Science (MS) in Biology Ability to effectively teach undergraduate biology and laboratory courses Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching freshman biology laboratories Experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology I and II Experience coordinating laboratory programs or supervising instructional staff Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
