Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and technical performance of assigned vessels.
• Plan and manage drydock periods, major repairs, and capital projects.
• Ensure vessels meet class, flag state, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and control maintenance budgets and technical costs.
• Coordinate with shipyards, vendors, and classification societies to facilitate repairs and inspections.
• Review technical reports, defect lists, and root cause analyses to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to onboard engineering teams to optimize vessel performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–10+ years of experience in vessel technical management or port engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of marine propulsion, auxiliary systems, and maintenance practices.
• Proven experience managing shipyard repairs and drydock projects.
• Excellent technical documentation, communication, and leadership skills.
