[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the chemical or petrochemical location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual activity or security-related concerns, reporting observations according to Allied Universal and site protocols. Support access control measures, including verifying credentials and / or inspecting vehicles as required. Assist with emergency evacuations and / or drills, following all site-specific protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities. Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and law enforcement as needed. At least one year of security-related experience is required. An armed guard card or license is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
