Job Summary :

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting with development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales for Sacramento Kings single-game tickets, ticket products, and lead generation initiatives. This role plays a key part in growing the fan base and supporting revenue goals through strategic advertising and communication across digital, traditional, and out-of-home channels.

The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with the Creative, Business Intelligence, Ticket Sales, and Retail teams to ensure all campaigns are cohesive, data-driven, and deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative, and innovative marketer who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans that promote single-game ticket sales, multi-game plans, memberships, and lead generation initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day project timelines, deliverables, and communications across internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure campaigns launch on time and meet objectives.
• Assist with media planning and creative development across digital advertising (paid social, search, programmatic, CTV), traditional media (radio, TV, print), and out-of-home channels (billboards, in-arena).
• Collaborate with the Creative team to produce clear and compelling advertising assets, oversee timelines and approvals, and ensure approved materials are delivered to the proper channels.
• Work with the Business Intelligence team to evaluate campaign performance, analyze audience data, and identify optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with Ticket Sales to ensure marketing strategies support sales objectives and drive qualified leads.
• Partner with Ticket Sales & Service teams to support member events, communication and retention campaigns.
• Manage email and SMS marketing campaigns focused on ticket sales, engagement, and retention.
• Contribute to database growth and email / SMS list-building initiatives that support long-term audience development.
• Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing assets, media placements, and reports.
• Assist in identifying marketing trends, fan engagement opportunities, and emerging technologies to enhance marketing strategies and campaign effectiveness.

Compensation :

The salary range for this full-time, non-exempt role is $50,000 - $55,000. Offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following :
