TheCenter for Advanced Microbiome Research and Innovation (CAMRI)within theInstitute of Genome Sciences (IGS)is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to join the laboratory of Jacques Ravel studying the vaginal microbiomes role in womens health. Our lab integrates multi-omics microbiome analyses experimental models observational cohorts and clinical trials to uncover the mechanisms by which the vaginal microbiome influences host susceptibility to sexually transmitted infections and likelihood to experience preterm birth among other adverse health outcomes. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in bioinformatics molecular microbiology and / or microbial ecology / evolution to apply.
