Description

  • Average hourly is $20.20 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)

Position Summary :

The role focuses on supporting children in the Foster Care / Kinship Program by managing a caseload of families seeking to become kinship foster homes. The specialist coordinates with other agencies, conducts home visits, facilitates training, and ensures regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Recruit and engage potential foster / kinship families.
  • Organize and oversee training and verification of foster homes.
  • Conduct home visits and provide 24 / 7 on-call support.
  • Coordinate child placements and collaborate with intake / licensing staff.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with licensing standards.
  • Advocate for cultural sensitivity and teamwork.

    • Qualifications :

  • Preferred : Master's or Bachelor's in Social Work or related field.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred.
  • Must meet one of four qualification options based on education and experience in child-placing activities.
  • Valid driver's license required; must meet agency driving standards.
