A rapidly expanding mail order pharmacy specializing in sex-specific health medications is seeking a motivated Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity. Location :
- Initially at Buffalo Grove, with relocation to Romeoville, IL expected in December
- Must be able to commute to both locations to maximize contract length

Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PMResponsibilities :
Manage pharmacy inventory efficientlyPrepare, fill, label, and dispense medications under licensed pharmacist supervision, including non-sterile and sterile compoundingPrepackage oral and external medications using specialized packaging and labeling equipmentReview and process physician orders, verify completeness, and maintain accurate pharmacy patient medication profilesOrder pharmaceutical supplies and restock medication shelves while maintaining a clean workspaceRotate and remove outdated drugs and maintain stock recordsSupport high-volume operations (600+ prescriptions daily), maintaining organized workflow despite occasional site challengesQualifications :
Current Pharmacy Technician license for Illinois is mandatoryAt least 1 year of recent experience in a high-volume retail or closed-door pharmacy settingStrong communication skills and ability to work independentlyAbility to remain stationary approximately 50% of the time and move boxes up to 20 poundsPrior compounding experience (non-sterile experience acceptable) preferredAdditional Information :
