Home Health Field Nurse (RN) Weekend Only/Guaranteed Wage

Immediate Need for Home Health Field Nurse (RN) in the Louisville, KY area. Part time shift for Weekends ONLY (SAT & SUN) Available. Guaranteed Wage (4 hours per day Sat & Sun). Pay Rate $32-$38/hr depending on experience.

BrightStar Care Louisville is hiring a Registered Nurse to work ONE on ONE Home Health in the field for patients. RN position requires experience with lab draws, wound care, infusion, ostomy care, port access, IV stars and more. Requirements:

• Current unrestricted RN license in Kentucky
• Certified BLS and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required with bedside care or home health preferred.
• Experience with lab draws, wound care, infusions, ostomy care, port access, IV starts and more.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Part-time / Per diem

Salary: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour. Note: compensation may vary based on skill, experience and location.

Standard shift:

• 8AM-4PM or 9AM-5PM / Guaranteed Wage 4 hours Sat and 4 hours Sunday

Weekly schedule:

• Every Weekend, Sat & Sun

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Louisville, KY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• RN (Required)

Work Location: In person in home setting
