Job Description:

InGenesis is currently seeking a Patient Escort to work with our client. In this role, you will escort hospital and ambulatory patients traveling by wheelchair, stretcher, or hydraulic stretcher to their destinations.

Job Duties:

• Complete Daily Disinfection & Tracking Log for each patient that is escorted.
• Sanitize, disinfect, and inspect wheelchairs prior to patient's use.
• Follow the Equipment Checklist for assisting patients on and off the wheelchair.
• Transport each patient in a timely and safe manner to the initial appointment from the entry point.
• Provide courteous and professional service to all patients and their caregivers.
• Navigate throughout the campus independently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• One year of patient care and customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and a great demeanor.
• Ability to push 200 pounds + via a wheelchair.
