Main Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyze financial information to ensure integrity is maintainedAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activitiesParticipate in external and internal audits as requiredUphold Colas ethics and business principlesAd hoc projects and reporting as neededEducation
Bachelors degree from an accredited college with a major in accounting, finance, or business administration with a concentration in accounting
Skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsMotivated, positive, and professionalAt least three years of accounting experience preferably in the construction and / or manufacturing fieldStrong knowledge of GAAP and IFRSMust possess excellent skills with Microsoft Windows and MS Office suite, particularly Outlook and Excel (intermediate level, pivot tables, vlookups, if statements, nested ifs, hlookups, sum if / ifs statements, macros, what-if analysis, data validation, etc.).Experience with JDE (preferred), Sage, Timberline, or other enterprise construction industry software is a plusWorking Place :
