Cardiovascular Technologist - CV Tech

Job Details :

Perform adult cardiac catheterization, cardiac devices, electrophysiology and / or structural heart procedures

Execute scrubbing, circulating, monitoring and recording duties for diagnostic and interventional procedures

Float between departments and local locations within 20 miles as required

Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all procedures

Ensure accurate medication administration, charge capture, and reporting of daily procedural caseload

Respond and provide emergent care when needed

Perform administrative tasks including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment maintenance

Maintain cleanliness and preparedness of procedure rooms

Ensure compliance with institutional, local, and federal regulations

Must be a team player, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environment

Minimum 1+ years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure experience required

Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment

Preferred 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures experience

Associates Degree required in Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technology, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic program, or Surgical Technology (OR 4 years experience in lieu of degree)

Required certifications : RCIS or RCES, BLS, ACLS

PALS certification required for Presbyterian Downtown location
