Position Details

• Position Type: Full-time Contract
• Duration: 12 months with possible extension
• Location: Charlotte North Carolina (Hybrid -3 days onsite / 2 days WFH)

Full Stack Software Engineer – Java & Modern Web Technologies
Do you enjoy building end-to-end applications that deliver reliable and scalable solutions? We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who can design, develop, and maintain applications across front-end and back-end technologies. This role also provides the opportunity to work with emerging AI capabilities while contributing to modern development practices.
What You’ll Do
Develop End-to-End Applications
Design, build, and maintain applications using Java along with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular and database technologies like MongoDB.
Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams
Work closely with developers, architects, and business partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business and technical goals.
Support Continuous Improvement
Stay updated with emerging technologies, development trends, and tools while recommending improvements to development processes and system performance.
Build & Maintain CI/CD Pipelines
Support automated build, testing, and deployment processes to improve development efficiency and application reliability.
Implement Containerized Solutions
Develop and deploy applications using containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Perform Testing & Debugging
Create and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application stability, reliability, and performance.
Leverage AI & Emerging Technologies
Contribute to solutions that incorporate Generative AI capabilities and support innovation across application development.
Maintain Technical Documentation
Develop and maintain documentation including technical specifications, design documents, and user guidance to support knowledge sharing and maintainability.

What We’re Looking For
• Experience developing applications using Java and modern full stack technologies
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline development and automation
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, PyTest, or similar tools
• Full application lifecycle and software development best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications
Nice to Have
• Exposure to Generative AI technologies
• Experience improving development workflows or engineering processes
• Experience contributing to system design or architecture discussions
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $55-$60 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
