Position Overview : We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This individual will report directly to the Controller and play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and maintenance of financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AP, a good understanding of GAAP accounting, and the ability to proactively manage the payment process.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the full AP cycle, including reviewing, coding, and processing invoices.
  • Match purchase orders to invoices and ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices and manage vendor relationships.
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee company credit card, ensuring adherence to company’s policies and procedures and reconciling statements monthly.
  • Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and organize AP records and documentation.
  • Support the Controller with various accounting tasks and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP accounting principles.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Strong foundation of GAAP accounting principles.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Service Titan and / or Intacct is highly desirable.
  • Proactive approach to managing tasks and solving problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

    Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : From $48,000 and up to $52,000 per year

    This is NOT a remote position. This is an in-office position at our Dallas location.
