Position Summary

Seeking part-time security officer to provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control at the Aerospace Arlington, VA location.

Requires TS / SCI

Part-Time : Sunday and Monday - 11 : 00pm-7 : 30am

Responsibilities

Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant

Patrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies

Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.

Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain

Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies

Qualifications

Must have a current TS Clearance or Higher

Must be U.S. citizen

Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record

Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check

Successfully pass an employment physical

Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms

Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.

Be fully computer literate with computer hardware

Communicate effectively

Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses

6 months or more of related security experience

Working Conditions

Subject to frequent interruptions. May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday. Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.
