The Asst-Occupational Therapy Assistant under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides skilled occupational therapy to patients / clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs. Requires skills in patient / client treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient / client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential. Works with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training : Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
• Coursework / Training : May require specialized OTA training to meet a particular department need, or equivalent educ / experience.
• Upon hire : Oregon Occupational Therapist Assistant License.
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire : In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check is required for this position (PL 612 and 580 only).

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
