Cook Systems is where your journey to success begins!Title: BI Data Analyst JR LevelPay Rate: $30hr - $38hr DOEJob Description: Develop BI Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain automated market intelligence databases and interactive dashboards in Power BI to track key performance indicators.Analyze Market Dynamics: Analyze and forecast global soda ash supply and demand by interpreting market data, monitoring the economic environment, and modeling future scenarios.Conduct Strategic Research: Perform deep-dive analyses on specific end-markets, key customers, and competitor activities to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.Evaluate Performance: Conduct customer and product profitability analysis to support commercial target setting and strategic planning.Deliver Insights: Synthesize complex data into clear, concise reports and presentations, providing actionable insights to support ad-hoc requests from senior leadership.EDUCATION:Education degree or equivalent in a master's degree quantitative field such as Engineering, Economics, Finance or Business Administration. Bachelor's Degree minimum.Relevant work experience in data analysis or market research is a plus.Requirements:Advanced proficiency Microsoft Suite, specifically in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling VBA is a plus.Experience with a data visualization tool like Power BI is a strong plus.Data management and mining skills.
