Job Summary

The Student Worker on the Macon Campus is a part-time position working up to 19 hours per week. This position provides specialized support for students, faculty, and staff. Responsibilities include assisting in the daily operations of the Macon Campus IT department and reports to the System Support Specialist - Helpdesk.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with login issues with SWORDS, D2L and E-mail via phone or walk-in.
• Answer phone and assist students / faculty / staff with IT needs such as two-factor authentication resets, setting up Office 365. etc.
• Submit IT helpdesk tickets for faculty / staff.
• Setup VCON classrooms making sure cameras are on and positioned correctly and either in send / receive mode.
• Assists in organizing IT equipment.
• Assists with lifting and moving IT equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
