Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School is a co-educational Catholic parish high school located in the heart of residential Alameda just minutes from downtown Oakland. We are currently seeking a full-time Social Studies substitute teacher to teach four sections of World History and one section of AP World History during the 2025-26 school year. The position begins January 6 2026 and ends February 13 2026.

Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelors Degree. High school teaching experience is preferred.

The candidate will be responsible for working with other members of the Social Studies Department to deliver the established curriculum. Candidates must be willing to teach according to Roman Catholic Church doctrine and values.

Salary is commensurate with experience graduate education and credentials according to the schools established salary schedule for teachers.
