Join our Glaucoma clinic team with the Dept of Ophthalmology, where you'll play a key role in delivering a seamless and positive patient experience. We're seeking a friendly, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient service and supporting high-volume phone operations. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Salary Range : $26.42-37.49 Hourly
Qualifications
Required :
Minimum six months of experience working in healthcare settingscheduling patient appointments.
Familiarity with current billing practices including governmental plans such as Medicare and Medicaid.
Verbal and written skills in English sufficient to communicate effectively with patients, doctors and staff.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with individuals of varied backgrounds effectively, with professionalism, patience and understanding.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a systematic manner to maximize efficiency.
Ability to demonstrate professionalism while dealing with the stressors of operating a multi-line telephone system.
Ability to work with frequent interruptions and to complete assignments in a timely manner.
Preferred :
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Experience working in ophthalmology practice .
One year of experience working in clinical teaching environment.
