American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT (R)(CT) certification, and strong IV skills for a night shift position in an acute care setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an acute care setting within the CT (Computed Tomography) departmentDepartment operates 3 scanners : 1 GE REV CT and 2 GE REV HDHandles all routine CT exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patientsProcedures include cardiac CT, biopsy / drain, cryo / microwave ablations, and trauma imagingAverage volume of 65-70 scans per 24 hours across 3 scannersOccasional float to X-ray for ED, inpatient, and outpatient coverage as neededUses EPIC EMR and SECTRA PACS; experience with these systems preferredNight shifts are Friday to Sunday, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM; shift and schedule may vary based on facility needsCall is optional with a 45-minute response time if acceptedJob duties include routine and specialized CT imaging, trauma scans, and support for biopsies and ablationsTeam structure includes an imaging supervisor and shift / modality lead technologistsDepartment orientation typically provided during the first three daysProfessional appearance required; any color scrubs are acceptable except in the OR where hospital-provided scrubs are requiredRadiologist on-site 24 / 7 for imaging review and supportHoliday shifts may be required if scheduledProfile review and phone interview with unit manager are part of the hiring processPrevious direct employment with any CommonSpirit facility within the past year makes candidates ineligibleTravelers need permanent residence outside the specified facility radius in select states per facility rules\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years recent CT technologist experience in an acute care settingActive ARRT RT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredActive state license required at the time of consideration; license required if applicableStrong IV skills needed for outpatient proceduresAbility to perform all routine CT exams and trauma imagingMust be able to start and manage IVs for contrast studiesExperience with EPIC EMR and SECTRA PACS preferredRadiation badge required before starting assignmentCopy of driver’s license required for considerationTwo professional references required, including one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years\n Benefits\n
