Estimator Responsibilities :

• Demonstrated, on multiple projects, expertise in all aspects of project estimating from project pre-planning thru commissioning / closeout.
• Proven track record of successful estimating performance as measured by internal customer satisfaction, absence of project disputes based on budget / estimating problems, profitability, timely completion, project documentation, project transition from estimating to operations and estimating staff development.
• Analyze architectural plans, blueprints, and project specifications to prepare accurate estimates for drywall projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and data.
• Calculate material quantities and labor costs required for each project.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and construction methods to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
• Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to address questions and provide clarifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
