Job Summary
The Material Handler II is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring materials are delivered to required areas in a timely and efficient manner. This role supports manufacturing and assembly operations while adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform material movements both physically and within the ERP system
- Generate and process work orders and work order receipts in the ERP system
- Conduct cycle counts as required to ensure inventory accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support the coordination and flow of materials through manufacturing and assembly operations
- Work effectively within a cross-functional team environment
- Handle chemicals as required, following proper training and safety procedures (chemicals primarily include isopropyl alcohol and sulfuric acid; no high-hazard materials)
- Work overtime as required to meet business needs
- Support company initiatives and comply with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements
- Comply with FDA regulations, company policies, operating procedures, and task assignments
- Maintain positive and cooperative communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of inventory control experience , preferably in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, medical device, or similar)Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory processesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentEducation
