Job Designation
The Assembler 2 position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical / electronic equipment.
Job Core Responsibilities
- Ability to use electric soldering equipment to the J-STD standard.
- Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and / or limited supervision
- Perform a variety of complex mechanical and / or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures
- Conduct inspections of own and / or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and / or customer drawing
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards
- Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures
- Additional job duties and tasks as needed
- Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed
- Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor
Job Specifications
Education : A Secondary Certificate / High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations is preferred.
Certifications : Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field
Years Experience : Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics / manufacturing environment or completed OJT training for at least 5 products.

Approximately 90% sitting and 10% standing / walking about in-door Company facilities.Lift and Carry up to 30 lbs.Use hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gun.Use head and neck in static position, looking up / down and side-to-side.Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf.Push and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloaded.Minimal : heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders, kneeling.Minimal : exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfaces.
