Position Summary

The University of Rhode Island (URI) seeks an experienced Workday Integration Lead to oversee and guide the development of integrations between Workday, PeopleSoft, and other URI enterprise applications. This leadership role is responsible for managing the Workday integration team, ensuring that integration solutions are designed, developed, tested, and deployed according to URI's business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise with Workday's integration technologies, PeopleSoft platforms, and a proven track record in managing technical teams on large-scale enterprise projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Workday integration workstream for URI's Workday implementation, including team oversight, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of integrations between Workday, PeopleSoft, and other URI enterprise applications.
• Establish integration strategy, architecture, standards, and best practices aligned with URI's business objectives.
• Collaborate with URI business, functional, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust integration solutions.
• Provide technical direction, coaching, and mentoring to integration developers and analysts.
• Ensure integration deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Oversee issue resolution, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of integration solutions.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests within the integration workstream.
• Deliver regular status reports and updates to URI project leadership.
