[job_card.job_description]Provide nursing care throughout all phases of GI / Endoscopy procedures Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications and moderate sedation per protocol Maintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and procedural staff Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure expectations Respond effectively to emergencies and follow established safety protocols Participate in Endoscopy call coverage Uphold all hospital and nursing division policies, procedures, and standards Support a safe, compassionate, patient-centered environment Engage in team communication, staff collaboration, and professional development Strong GI / Endoscopy procedural knowledge Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced procedural environment Competent in conscious sedation and post-procedure recovery Experience managing both outpatient and inpatient GI procedural workflows RN with Endoscopy experience or OR RN with documented Endoscopy training Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Comfortable rotating between campuses and participating in call

Position Overview
The GI / Endoscopy RN provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing GI procedures across both hospital campuses , supporting both outpatient and inpatient workflows. This role includes participation in the Endoscopy on-call rotation and requires strong critical thinking, patient assessment, and collaboration skills.
OR nurses with Endoscopy training / experience are welcome to apply .
