Salary : $140,000 - $200,000

Are you passionate about shaping the future of humanity's presence in space? Lunar Outpost, a trailblazer in space robotics, invites you to join our team! Lunar Outpost is dedicated to creating a sustainable presence in space, while also driving positive impacts here on Earth. We are seeking a talented, experienced Senior Contracts Manager to help define the future of lunar surface mobility in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Help craft and implement contractual documentation
  • Support contract negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and the federal government
  • Review contractual terms, identify risks, and negotiate on behalf of the company
  • Coordinate contract implementations between the company and subcontractors while ensuring both parties are adhering to obligations
  • Quarterly review and maintain all contract records, while guaranteeing thorough and accurate compliance
  • Coordinate and support contract administration across departments
  • Support government compliance activities

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in contract administration or a related role, preferably in the aerospace industry and / or a technology startup environment
  • Strong understanding of contract law, including contract formation, interpretation, and implementation
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable terms and conditions while maintaining positive relationships with partners and vendors
  • Experience working on contracts with the U.S. government
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • U.S. Persons

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in a similar role within the aerospace industry and / or a technology startup environment
  • Advanced degree or certification (i.e., JD, CPCM)
  • Experience working in the space industry or with NASA or DoD contracts, including familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and NASA FAR Supplement (NFS)
  • Knowledge of intellectual property rights and licensing agreements related to space technology
  • Experience with international contracts and cross-border transactions
