Inland Valley Surgeons of SoCal is seeking a General Surgeon to join its established multi-specialty surgical group serving the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire. This opportunity allows the incoming surgeon to build a strong patient base while practicing in a collaborative, physician-led environment with access to advanced surgical technology.

The role includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient surgical care, supporting clinic locations in Montclair and Covina while performing procedures at affiliated partner hospitals in the region.

Practice Overview

Inland Valley Surgeons of SoCal is a physician-led surgical group providing comprehensive surgical care across the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire. The practice currently includes:

• 2 surgeons
• 1 physician assistant
• 1 colorectal surgeon who also performs general surgery

The incoming physician will support surgical cases and consults across affiliated hospitals, including Prime Healthcare facilities and Emanate Health hospitals. The practice utilizes advanced robotic and laparoscopic technologies, allowing surgeons to perform complex minimally invasive procedures.

What You'll Do

• Perform acute and elective general surgery procedures
• Perform advanced laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries using DaVinci technology
• Manage outpatient clinics in Montclair and Covina
• Provide inpatient surgical coverage at partner hospitals
• Participate in ER call coverage across partner facilities

Schedule

Full-Time

• Clinic hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Flexible scheduling with autonomy to determine clinic and OR days

Call

• 1 in 3 night call rotation
• 1 in 3 weekend call rotation
• Call coverage typically shared across two hospitals

What We're Looking For

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery
• Interest in robotic and minimally invasive surgery
• Ability to develop subspecialty interests such as colorectal or advanced general surgery
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered surgical care

Compensation

• Year 1 income guarantee: $350,000 plus productivity bonus
• Year 2+ productivity-based compensation model
• Approximately 70% of collections after expenses (negotiable)
• Shared overhead structure
• Relocation assistance negotiable
• Malpractice insurance coverage

Employment Structure

• New graduates may be employed as W-2 physicians
• Experienced candidates may work as 1099 independent contractors
