Location & Work Arrangement

  • Location : Mechanicsville, Virginia
  • Work Arrangement : Hybrid
  • Contract : This is a Contract position.
  • Mode of Interview : In Person Only is required.
  • Notes :

Local candidates are strongly preferred.

  • Candidate must be able to come to Mechanicsville, VA to pick up the laptop.
  • The candidate must physically reside within the US for the duration of the assignment.

    • Key Responsibilities

    AI Cloud & Infrastructure Management

  • Azure AI Implementation : Provide guidance on, and actively implement, maintain, and monitor AI resources in Azure .
  • DevOps & Automation : Configure and maintain Monitoring , Infrastructure as Code (IaC) , and CI / CD pipelines for cloud resources.
  • Cloud Migration : Plan and execute cloud migrations , successfully moving mission-critical workloads from on-premises to the cloud (10+ Years Experience).

    • Security, Stability, & Support

  • Patching & Deployment : Perform regular patching and updates to ensure system security and stability (10+ Years Experience). Utilize tools like SCCM & SCOM for automated patch management and deployment (10+ Years Experience).
  • Vulnerability Management : Work with security tools like Tenable to manage vulnerability remediation .
  • Disaster Recovery (DR) : Oversee backup operations and recovery processes. Craft comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) plans to ensure minimal downtime and prevent data loss.
  • Troubleshooting : Provide support and troubleshooting issues for production applications across a multi-framework environment including .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics .

    • Core Technical Knowledge

  • Networking : Demonstrate strong networking knowledge , including understanding OSI layer functionality and network protocols.
  • Azure Environment : Extensive experience with implementing, monitoring, and maintaining general Azure environments (8+ Years Experience).

    • Desired Certifications

  • Microsoft-focused certifications : Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer Associate .
  • Networking-focused certifications : Network+ , CCNA .
