A New York-based law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to support its creditor-focused bankruptcy practice both locally and nationwide. The role involves assisting attorneys with filing and serving documents in New York, New Jersey, and federal bankruptcy courts, managing case calendars, preparing court filings, and ensuring compliance with local rules. Responsibilities include claims review, reconciliation, coordination with court and client professionals, logistical support for hearings, and case management of complex Chapter 11 matters. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of bankruptcy experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and proficiency with electronic court filings through CM/ECF. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to handle confidential information discretely. The position offers a salary range of $90,000 to $130,000, with opportunities to engage in high-profile, detail-oriented work within a dynamic legal environment.
