The Mission

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for growing the game of golf? PGA REACH South Central , the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the South Central PGA Section, is seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Director of Junior Golf .

Our mission is to positively impact lives through the game of golf, and we need a leader who can scale our junior programming—specifically the South Central Junior Tour & Players Tour —to new heights. This isn’t just about coordinating tournaments; it’s about building a sustainable ecosystem that introduces golf to a diverse new generation.

  • Tech-Savvy : Proficient in tournament management software, BlueGolf, Golf Genius, and social media platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field.
  • PGA Member or Associate in good standing (preferred but not required).
  • 3+ years of experience in golf administration or youth sports programming.
  • Strong knowledge of the Rules of Golf.
  • Ability to travel extensively during the peak summer season.

    • Essential Responsibilities

    Your Primary Focus : Growth & Impact

    The Director of Junior Golf will be responsible for the strategic expansion and daily execution of all junior events across Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Southern Kansas.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Expansion : Develop and implement a growth plan to increase junior membership and tournament participation.
  • Tournament Excellence : Oversee the scheduling, administration, and on-site execution of the South Central Junior Tour & Players Tour, ensuring a "Major Championship" feel for players of all skill levels.
  • Fundraising & Sponsorship : Work alongside the Executive Director to identify and secure corporate partners to keep junior golf affordable and accessible.
  • Digital Presence : Elevate the brand of South Central Junior Golf through creative social media content and modernized communication with parents and players.

    • Compensation & Incentives

    We believe in rewarding the leaders who drive our mission forward. This role offers a performance-based compensation structure designed for a high-achiever :

  • Base Salary : $45,000 – $55,000 (commensurate with experience).
  • Growth Incentives : Performance-based bonuses tied directly to program growth (increased participation numbers) and revenue milestones.
  • Activation Bonuses : Additional compensation for the successful acquisition and management of new sponsorships and donor contributions.

    • Total Earning Potential : This structure is designed to allow a motivated Director to significantly exceed their base salary through successful program scaling and fundraising efforts.
