Materials Data & ERP Inventory Coordinator Are you wired for precision?
Do mismatched counts jump off the page at you? Can you trace a variance from the warehouse aisle to the last Epicor transaction and explain it clearly? If so, you could be the accuracy champion our team needs.
The mission
Safeguard inventory integrity. You’ll use Epicor to capture, validate, and improve stock data so our customers receive dependable service, our operations avoid overstock, and shipping errors are minimized.
How you’ll contribute
- Own cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory to ERP balances.
- Reduce excess and handle obsolete inventory responsibly.
- Enter and maintain complete, accurate records in ERP / RF systems; demonstrate ERP fluency.
- Analyze inventory trends and provide detailed variance explanations.
- Recommend corrections; report discrepancies and track outcomes based on your proposals.
- Collaborate with the Transaction Control team and management to elevate accuracy.
- Meet or exceed KPIs; contribute ideas to lift output and efficiency.
- Apply 5S to sustain a clean, organized, quality-focused workspace.
- Lead with safety : follow Ohio Gratings procedures and OSHA training at all times.
- Tackle administrative tasks and other related duties as assigned.
What it takes to excel
High School Diploma required.Approximately 3 years of related experience preferred.Prior ERP / RF knowledge preferred; Epicor exposure is a plus.Forklift certification preferred.Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality.Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.Excellent time management and deadline accountability.Confident communicator with sound conflict resolution abilities.Comfort working independently under general supervision; consult your supervisor when uncertain.Physical realities of the job
Regular standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.Frequent reaching, handling, and feeling with hands and arms.Work throughout the plant, with possible exposure to wet and humid conditions.Lift up to 75 lbs.Strong vision (distant and peripheral), color recognition, and focus adjustment.Operate near moving mechanical parts; work at heights and / or in confined spaces.Extended periods of sitting or standing while performing counts.Who we are
