Occupational Therapist (OT)

Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist to join its interdisciplinary clinic in Oklahoma City, OK. Come join our team as we provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities. Our clinic includes psychology, ABA, OT, and Speech services. This position primarily consists of the following:

The Position:

• Assess individual fine and gross motor, sensory, and activities of daily living (ADL) skills
• Create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans
• Serve as a team member for multidisciplinary evaluations
• Perform small group and individual therapy based on client needs
• Provide family education and training to assist in transfer of skills
• Be willing to supervise and develop a team of COTAs as the clinic grows
• Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting
• Maintain client records
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records in according with HIPAA and State and Federal Regulations

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience working with children and families in a pediatric setting
• Prior experience working with children with autism or other intellectual disabilities
• Masters or doctoral degree in occupational therapy, and be licensed in the state of Oklahoma
• Excellent communication skills with other providers and families
• Feeding experience is a plus
• Must have great problem-solving skills
• Available full-time 40 hours/week
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in using technology (Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Office and familiar with EMR systems)
