Alabama Licensed Physical Therapist Reviewer

A company is looking for a Physical Therapist Reviewer-PRN.

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret patient records to determine the appropriateness of care

Determine approval or initiate referrals to physician consultants based on review findings

Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA policies

Required Qualifications

Active unrestricted Physical Therapy license with the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy / rehab environment

Must reside within the state of Alabama

Knowledge of Medicaid wheelchair policy and evaluations

Medical record abstracting skills
