Receiving Coordinator

Conducts daily activities related to receiving materials into the warehouse, and ensuring safe and accurate storage for inventory retrieval.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Receives all incoming deliveries into the warehouse and monitors the unloading process

Directs material handlers in inventory placement

Confirms that packing lists or other related documents match the receipts of goods and materials; verifies counts, records discrepancies and details any damaged incoming freight with corresponding report and pictures

Submits completed paperwork to the Receiving Clerk for entry into the ERP system

Evaluates complaints related to shipments and takes appropriate action

Completes management reports, as needed

Assists in other work areas, as needed, during absences / shortages of staff

Required Skills / Abilities :

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Good verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to read and interpret documents

Ability to perform duties in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment

Comfortable working in a team environment

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Able to handle working on and completing projects within tight deadlines while maintaining professionalism

Education and Experience :

1-2 years’ experience in a similar role

High School diploma or GED required

Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage

Bi-lingual Spanish a plus

Monday-Friday

7am to 3 : 30pm

$14.00-$16.00 / hr DOE
