Location : Hackensack, NJ 07601

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Schedule : 4×10 Hour Shifts | 9 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM

Hours per Week : 40

Weekends / Holidays / Call : None

Job Summary

The PACU Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and supporting physicians in delivering high-quality post-anesthesia and critical care. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individualized patient needs while ensuring safe and evidence-based practice throughout the care process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and determine priorities for care.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Assist physicians with procedures and patient care activities.
• Provide therapeutic nursing interventions based on patient condition and medical diagnosis.
• Monitor and manage patient status throughout recovery.
• Document all care in accordance with clinical standards and guidelines.
• Advocate for and support evidence-based practice.
• Deliver patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
