CNC Machine Operator I Second Shift

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

Will set up the CNC machine according to established procedures to drill and mill required material and / or parts out of aluminum stainless steel Kapton titanium brass copper etc.

Will utilize a lit or a drawing to verify that the machined parts conform to specifications.

Will monitor the coolant levels and maintain CNC tooling.

Will perform QC on first articles and on in-process parts.

Will use micrometers and calipers to measure parts.

Must be able to get along well with others.

Must be able to work scheduled shift and meet company attendance requirements; must be flexible enough to stay late or modify work hours on short notice if production deadlines require it.

Must be able to perform the job safely; must comply with company safety rules and procedures.

Must follow the lean philosophy and practice the 5 Ss on a daily basis.
