We’re seeking a dedicated Graduate Nurse for full-time nights in our PCU Stepdown Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your nursing career and make a difference in patients' lives.

Sign-On Bonus : Enjoy a $7,500 bonus, paid on your first paycheck.

Schedule : 7 PM to 7 AM

Your Role :

As a Graduate Nurse, you'll be actively participating in the SSM Health New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. Under the guidance of an RN, you will provide patient care within your scope and adhere to professional standards. You'll be responsible for delivering age-appropriate care to a range of patients with various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Carry out delegated tasks based on your nursing training and demonstrated competence.
  • Perform thorough patient assessments, considering biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age-appropriate needs.
  • Develop and implement a detailed patient education plan, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Document care accurately and promptly, including processing physician orders according to policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Engage in training and competencies to continually enhance your skills.
  • Follow professional nursing standards that guide your practice and decision-making.

    • Qualifications :

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • No prior experience necessary.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification required or to be completed within 90 days of hire.

    • Work Shift : Night Shift (United States of America)

    Scheduled Weekly Hours : 36
