Senior Payroll Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant to join their Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and execute the end-to-end processing of payroll for employees using systems like BambooHR and Zedra

Prepare and post complex payroll journal entries, ensuring accurate allocation across departments

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of all payroll-related GL accounts

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field

4-7 years of progressive experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably for a global organization

Proficiency in standard business software suites, including Google Workspace

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis

Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP principles related to payroll accounting and GL reconciliation
