Maintain accurate records, contracts, and client information in the company’s CRM system. Manage all paperwork related to insurance-funded prearrangements in accordance with applicable laws and company policy. Actively represent the funeral home at community events, senior groups, and civic organizations to promote advance planning education. Deliver professional and engaging presentations to small and large groups. Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, clergy, and local organizations. Provide regular updates to management on family interactions, sales performance, and community engagement activities. Gather and communicate client feedback to help improve service delivery and outreach efforts. Active Funeral Director’s License in the state of employment (required). Active Life Insurance License (required), or ability to obtain license within 60 days of hire. Prior experience in advance planning or funeral service is preferred but not required. Sales or community outreach background strongly desired. Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle. Clean professional and criminal record — free of fraud, forgery, or related offenses. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends based on family and community needs. Professional and Personable : Able to balance empathy with professionalism; maintains composure and integrity in all interactions. Tech-Savvy and Detail-Focused : Proficient in CRM systems and comfortable managing administrative documentation accurately. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region (up to 50%).

Position Summary
The Advance Planning Director is responsible for guiding families through the process of pre-arranging funeral, cremation, and memorial services. This position combines the professional expertise of a Licensed Funeral Director and Life Insurance Producer with the relationship-building skills of a trusted advisor. The Advance Planning Director supports families in making informed, meaningful decisions in advance, providing peace of mind and financial security for their loved ones.
This role requires a compassionate, service-oriented professional who can balance empathy with education, professionalism, and compliance. The Advance Planning Director also serves as a community ambassador — fostering awareness of pre-planning services and representing the mission and values of Milestone Funeral Partners within the community.
