Controller
Location : On-site about an hour from Austin for initial onboarding (4-5 weeks), then may work hybrid or remote if you reside within Texas
Salary Range : $120,000 - $150,000 + Bonus (20-30% target)

What You'll Do
Lead the accounting function with a mix of technical expertise, operational leadership, and process improvement :
Accounting Operations :Oversee AR / AP, payroll, banking, and compliance reporting.
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure timely and accurate audits and regulatory filings.Inventory & Cost Accounting :Manage accounting for $5M+ inventory across stock and project-based models.
Implement best practices for inventory tracking and valuation.Support transition from project-based to partial stock model.Process Improvements & Automation :Identify inefficiencies and implement automation across workflows.
Lead ERP and system upgrades (Microsoft Business Central, Jet Reports).Drive adoption of cloud-based tools and reporting enhancements.Strategic Partnership :Collaborate with CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and debt service goals.
Provide insights to support e-commerce expansion and operational scaling.Partner with HR for payroll, insurance, and banking processes.What We're Looking For
We need a CPA-level professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment and can lead modernization efforts :
CPA : Required.Manufacturing & Inventory Expertise : Strong background in cost accounting and inventory management.Audit & Compliance : Experience managing audits and financial reporting under GAAP.Systems Knowledge : ERP proficiency (Business Central preferred) and advanced Excel skills.Leadership & Initiative : Ability to lead process improvements and drive operational efficiency.Ideal Background
Controller or senior accounting leadership roles in manufacturing or similar industries.Experience with private equity-backed companies or high-growth environments.Proven ability to manage complexity and deliver results under tight timelines.Compensation & Benefits
