Our team is distributed across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia./ppThe Finance Director is a key leadership role within the organization and responsible for financial oversight of the business. As Financial Director your duties will include leading the companys financial forecasting and reporting processes, ensuring timely funding from clients for EOR employee payroll, implementing internal process improvements, driving service excellence within the companys client-facing finance function, and leading a global finance team of high-performing colleagues./ppWere looking for a financial leader with a background in the CPG or services industry who possesses strong GAAP knowledge, an FPA skillset, and excellent communication skills. The Finance Director will report to the COO, work closely with all internal departments and manage our finance and accounting team of 13 colleagues. The role is a combination of Accounting (60%) and FPA (40%)./ppOur ideal candidate is likely to be a senior finance manager or finance director whos worked in a handful of different companies and is ready to take the next step and lead a finance function./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliManage global finance team and oversee day-to-day functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, monthly close, and consolidation into parent company accounts/liliManage working capital, including oversight of the AR, AP, and treasury functions/liliOversee the accounting teams delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/liliPrepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting package and insights to GX Executives and Board/liliIdentify and implement departmental and financial reporting process improvements/liliMonitor internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and statutory reporting requirements/liliSupport ad-hoc financial requests received from internal stakeholders and management/li/ulpFinancial Planning and Analysis (FPA)/pulliCollaborate with operational departments, including sales, marketing, and operations to drive forecasting processes/liliDevelop and maintain financial models, templates to support operational planning, budgeting, and forecasting/liliPresent monthly financial review to executive management team and deliver insights derived from preparing company performance metrics/liliProvide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including new product launches, marketing and sales initiatives, pricing recommendations, operational efficiency and profitability/liliIdentify opportunities for business expansion, cost optimization, and FPA process improvements/li/ulpQualifications/pulliBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred/liliExperience in a fast-paced working environment such as Big Four accounting firm or start-up company/liliProven ability to lead global teams in a remote environment.
