Job Description

  • Create and refine CMM inspection programs (using PCDIMS and MCOSMOS) for precision machined components
  • Analyze engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to plan inspection approaches
  • Select and set up appropriate fixturing, tooling, and configurations to enable consistent, accurate measurements
  • Interpret engineering standards, drawings, and customer specifications to guide inspection requirements
  • Oversee and validate inspections and tests to ensure product adherence to design and specification
  • Conduct measurement system analysis (MSA) and gage R&R studies to verify measurement reliability
  • Produce and maintain quality documentation such as control plans, inspection plans, FAIs, and PPAPs to satisfy customer demands
  • Confirm that process control documents and project deliverables meet contractual and quality obligations
  • Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to integrate inspection processes
  • Uphold a clean, structured, and safetycompliant work environment in line with company guidelines

    The Successful Applicant

  • Prior experience as a Quality Engineer or in a comparable role
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience programming CMMs
  • Indepth knowledge of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and inspection techniques
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
  • Demonstrated track record in quality inspection and assurance within manufacturing
  • Proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, SPC) for interpreting measurement data
  • Comfortable working effectively in a highpressure, fastpaced environment
  • Collaborative team player with a constructive mindset and commitment to excellence
  • Self-motivated, able to initiate and drive projects independently
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
