Manufacturing Engineer

Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for their Liverpool, NJ location.

Responsibilities:

• Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
• May help incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

• Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing understanding desired.
• Must be self-starter and take initiative on projects.
• Must work well with cross-functional teams.
• Hiring Manager would consider early career candidates with a Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering Degree and at least year of industrial experience
• Candidates with - years Manufacturing Experience desired.
• Bachelors Degree is Required. Prefer candidates with - years of industrial experience
